Acapulco not only contains beaches of serene waters but also unsettled currents that attract numerous surfers in search of adrenaline. They do not hesitate in facing the powerful waves.

The beaches of choice for surfers are:

• El Revolcadero: it is a paradisiacal beach of white sands that makes for one of the favourite settings for surfers, who can practice their sport throughout the year due to its strong and continuous breaks. It is located at 4 kilometres from Puerto Marques.
  
  
• Punta Diamante: it is one of the few virgin beaches in Acapulco, and has a sandy bottom and waves breaking on both sides.
  
  
• Bonfil: it is one of the most recommendable beaches for surfing due to its strong waves; it is located 3 kilometres away from the highway to Barra Vieja.

SURFING IN LOS CABOS

The waves grow larger at the beaches of Los Cabos before resting on the white coastal sands. The last impulse of the masses of water lures surfers, that breed of daring men and women that live to defy the lefts and rights the sea presents them with.

Sportspeople from all over the world arrive in Los Cabos to tame the waves of its sea, especially at the beaches of Barco Varado, Cabo Bello, Costa Azul and Acapulquito; although the locals surf at points only known to them, but they are willing to share their secrets with foreign surfers.

It is recommendable to use shorter surfboards in Los Cabos. You will find technical service and renting shops in here, along with expert instructors that will teach you a few tricks.
