- By air: the Libertador Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla International Airport is at 16 kilometres from the centre of Guadalajara, and it has two terminals and four platforms. It gets flights coming from North, Central and South America, Europe and the main cities within Mexico. A flight coming from the Federal District, the Capital of the country, lasts approximately 55 minutes.
- By land: the distance between the City of Mexico and Guadalajara is of 535 kilometres. Several bus lines cover the route on a daily basis, and the trip takes 8 hours approximately. The vehicles set off at the Northern Terminal, located on 4907 Lázaro Cardenas, Federal District.
