The main characteristic of the beaches of La Paz are their transparent waters, white sands and warm ambiences.

These beaches, located alongside the trans-peninsular highway bound for the port of Pichilingue, the main in the zone, have the necessary infrastructure so that you can fully enjoy your encounter with the sun, the sea and the waves.

The following stand out amongst the beaches of La Paz:

-El Corumel: it is the beach closest to the city, and it is located at the kilometre 4 of the trans-peninsular highway. It has all that is needed to enjoy the sea and the sun.

-El Tesoro: it has calmed and shallow waters that turn it into a perfect place for rookie swimmers. It is located one kilometre away from the port of Pichilingue.

-Pichilingue: it is the beach of the port centre of La Paz, where besides enjoying the sea and watching a sunset that seems to be a magical illusion, it is recommendable to try the dishes made of fish and seafood, which make for an authentic flavour and good seasoning party.

-Balandra: it is the most photographed beach of the city for it has a rock formation resembling a giant mushroom. This capricious creation of nature is located at the end of the trans-peninsular highway.

-El Tecolote: it is the most attended amongst bathers and sportspeople. It is also the starting point for the tours bound for the Espíritu Santo Isle, located in front of the beach.
