NUEVO VALLARTATRANSPORT
Nuevo Vallarta
is not a great city of overwhelming proportions; on the contrary,
it is a small tourist development in the Bay of Banderas, the same
that can be toured with no hurry nor inconveniences while enjoying
the marine panorama and the gentle breeze; two powerful reasons
to feel encouraged to walk and discover the charms of this destination
in the State of Nayarit.
If you do not feel like walking, you can always rely on the vehicles
offering taxi service, or if you prefer, you can rent a car to move
around more comfortably across the bay. However, you can feel assured
that you will not have to face a traffic jam so common in the large
cities in here. Driving in Nuevo Vallarta is or
can be a true pleasure.
A more economic alternative and not free of a dose of adventure,
is to travel on the buses (trucks in the language of the Mexicans)
that link Nuevo Vallarta with its famous neighbour,
Puerto Vallarta, in the State of Jalisco. Prices are very adequate
for travellers who wish to save a few pesos. It is a worthwhile
experience.
