CLIMATE AND WEATHER
It is not an excess of optimism or a trick to exalt the attractions of Puerto Vallarta, but the sun shines 322 days a year in this sector of Mexico's west coast with an average temperature of 25 degrees Celsius. A weather only comparable to that of Hawaii, a tourist paradise that shares the same hemispheric latitude (20 degrees north).
The best season to visit Puerto Vallarta is from November to May, when the temperature oscillates between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius and there are no rains pouring down.
The heat and moisture increase considerably with the average temperature reaching 32 degrees Celsius during the summer (July to October). There are sporadic rainfalls in the afternoons and occasionally violent tropical storms unleash in this time of the year.
