Meditation, yoga and traditional medicine have an important place within the tourist agenda of Tepoztlan, because all the good vibrations that made it to be regarded as a sacred area for the Mesoamerican cultures are still here, and they continue to embrace men, polishing their spirits and filling them up with vitality.

At the neighbourhood of this traditional Town of the State of Morelos, the traveller will find these medicinal centres, specialised in curing due to some Pre-Hispanic traditional bathes called 'temazcal', which are alleged to have medicinal, ritual and ceremonial purposes, and capable of healing and cleansing the body, the mind and the soul. There are also performed some therapies in which medicinal herbs and sessions of meditation are needed.

-El Temazcal, is a resort specialised in treatments with traditional medicine. Temascal bathes can be enjoyed in its facilities, with the care and attention of traditional medicine experts and dexterous herbalists. It is located in Paraíso 3 and 22 de Febrero, Tepoztlan, Mexico.

-Centro de Salud y Nutrición Infantil (Cesan) - Children's Health and Nutrition Centre, attended by communitarian experts specialised in temazcal bathes, traditional medicine, massages and treatments with medicinal herbs. Located at Pedro Lugo Street (no number), San Juan Tlacotengo, Tepoztlan.

-Hostal de la Luz - Hostelry, among natural sounds and scents and wrapped by the strong energy that flows from underground (rich in ferrite), its guests would be part of some enriching meditation sessions. Its facilities also have a spa, temazcal bathes and a gym. It is situated at the fourth kilometre of the Federal Roadway Tepoztlan-Amatlan, colonia Amatlán of Quetzalcoatl, in the Municipality of Tepoztlan.
