Description: this Museum offers a vision of Mexican's art development and evolution since the 16th century to the middle 20th century. Inside its showrooms are exhibited paintings, sculptures, engravings and photographs from a number of authors and epochs. Description: this is a cultural space revering the life and works of the famed muralist Diego Rivera. One of its rooms shelters one of his greatest paintings: "Sueño de una tarde dominical en la Alameda" or "Sunday's afternoon reverie at the Boulevard". The Museum also contains a showroom for temporary exhibitions, where Mexican or foreign artists residing show their works.
