Museum of Transportation: it unveils the history and evolution of transportation in Mexico, and it has a wooden wagon made of mesquite that used to transport minerals, elegant chariots for religious services, a tram used by President Porfirio Diaz as his personal means of transportation, a lavish limousine (Packard 1908), and elegant convertible Cadillac (1930) and a French Panhard (1915), standing out amongst its collection of old vehicles.
It is located beside the Museum of Guadalupe, in a building that was part of the former convent. In the XIX century it was conditioned to house a school of arts and crafts oriented to orphan children. The historic archives of the city are in here as well.

Science Museum of the Autonomous University of Zacatecas: it exhibits a permanent collection of devices for the study of physics, cosmography, geography and engineering from the XIX century, gathered together by local scientist Jose Arbol y Bonilla; it also shows diverse medicinal plants of Mexico.
Most of these artefacts were used at the Literary Scientific Institute and at the Normal School, but they were abandoned when the teaching of physics excluded practices.
However, several of these instruments are still kept in good conditions, such as an old photo camera, magnets, compasses and thermometers, amongst others.
The museum opened its doors to the public on October the 11th of 1983, in the rector-ship of the Autonomous University of Zacatecas.
